Who We Are

The United Maricopa/Pinal County Firefighters Union, Local 3878, is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of residents across Maricopa and Pinal Counties. Our union is made up of highly trained and committed firefighters who respond to emergencies with speed and expertise.

We are deeply invested in the safety and well-being of our communities. That's why we continuously strive to enhance training programs, secure state-of-the-art equipment, and proactively address occupational hazards faced by our members. Our strong unity and camaraderie enable us to provide exceptional service to the areas we serve, including San Tan Valley, East Mesa county islands, West Valley county islands, Cave Creek county islands and Carefree.

Our Commitment to the Community

As members of IAFF Local 3878, we believe that protecting lives goes beyond responding to emergencies. Our commitment extends into the neighborhoods we serve, where we live, raise our families, and share in the day-to-day life of our communities.

We give back because we know that strong, resilient communities make us all safer. Whether it’s supporting local charities, organizing safety education programs, or volunteering our time at community events, we’re proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our neighbors.

From toy drives and holiday food donations to fire safety demonstrations in schools, our mission is not only to serve during times of crisis but also to invest in the health, safety, and future of the people we protect. Giving back isn’t just part of our work—it’s part of who we are.
